Settlement of inheritance from Zayn al-‘Abidin's wife, 1914
Zayn al-‘Abidin Khan on behalf of himself and his seven children, sells one-fourth of the properties in Sar Bizhan, Kirman, to Salar Nusrat Ghulamhusayn Khan for one thousand and one hundred and eighty tumans and some wheat. Zayn al-‘Abidin Khan’s wife and her sister, wife of Hasan ‘Ali Khan, had inherited half of the Sar Bizhan properties from their late father, Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, which were divided equally between the two. Marriage contract of Gawhar Sultan Khanum, daughter of Ibrahim Khan Sartip [brigadier] (Sa‘d al-Dawlah), and Ghulam Husayn Khan Yavar, son of Mu‘tamad al-Sultan Sulayman Khan Sartip; mahr is three tumans and one thousand five hundred dinars, gold, copperware, two carpets, six healthy male and female slaves, and properties including farms, houses, and gardens. Sulayman Khan has transferred the above properties to his son, Ghulam Husayn Khan.
